Staybridge Suites - Boston Logan Airport - Revere, an IHG Hotel

Our room was clean when we arrived. Much appreciated. Breakfast staff, Scott, was really nice to talk to and helpful. Breakfast was hot and plenty of choices.

I didn't eat breakfast every morning that I was there but it did seem that on the days that I did it was the same offering. I wish there would have been a little different offering each day. No biggie, still filled me up and saved me from paying for breakfast somewhere else. I wanted to see both Salem and Boston and thought that I was staying pretty in between. I was depending on which travel experience that I wanted, I was a little far from Salem and definitely closer to Boston if you rely on the subway and buses (cheap travel but takes a lot of time, what is more important for you?) One day I decided to take an Uber and found that it was 45 minutes from door to the Witch Dungeon in Salem. Please note that there was not one single time that I felt unsafe, in fact, all but 2 people that I met were very friendly and helpful which says a lot because my family has nicknamed me the "Friendmaster." I did make sure that I was back in my room before dark every night just because. I had a fantastic experience as a single traveler. The hotel accommodated all of my needs and was kept very clean. Also, it is about n 8 minute walk to a Target if your forgot anything. Pretty convenient. Oh and it rained one day during my 10 day stay (how lucky!) so I stayed in that day, I chose to do laundry and took money with me. Well, what do you know, it was FREE!!! I did think ahead and brought my own Tide Pod and dryer sheet. But I did stand there for about 5 minutes trying to figure out how to pay for the washer :) At the end of the day, if that is the worst thing to happen to me I think I had a pretty successful day! The location was very close to the sea, with many good restaurants around. Only a 20 minute drive to downtown Boston. The suite was spacious, and very clean and tidy. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped (with coffee maker). The bath was big. I loved the gym, where I worked out twice during my stay. I enjoyed working in the cozy lobby by the fireplace, watching the big screen and sipping coffee. The premises also has a nice indoor pool, although I didn't have the time to enjoy.

Easy taxi ride to a nice restaurant on the beach. We could have walked but it was windy and cold. Our room did have a little water view, which is always a bonus. Logan shuttle was on time and friendly.

Breakfast was excellent, especially the variety offered. I loved the egg, cheese and bacon bagels. I liked the sun screen and blackout screen options in the room, and the full dispensers of soap, shampoo and conditioner mounted in the shower. The always property appeared clean—inside and outside. The BLUE LINE train and a Target store are both within walking distance.
